Ok, the TV was a bust. It makes my eyes hurt like no other. So I guess I’ll go to Akiba and see if I can find a cheap monitor for under 50 bucks or so. I’ll go blind in 2 days using the TV.

TV was donated by my good friend Ludovic who unfortunately left us a month early to pursue his studies elsewhere. TV = Monitor! I just need to go find an appropriate cable, S-Video to RCA. Akihabara has everything!
Screen Death

Not blue. Just dead. My laptop LCD screen is trying to off itself. I have backlight at the moment, but I don’t know when it will cut out again. Looks like replacement is around 500 dollars. Blargh. Pretty much have to wait till I get back to the US to do it anyway.
