Yes, I’m totally serious. As long as your anxiety is not due to some chemical imbalance in your brain, and is purely a product of stresses in your life, I have some advice for you. It’s advice I received and have started implementing.

Stream of consciousness blogging, Take 1
I am going to write this blog as much as possible without stopping. I’m trying to unclog my brain, and let things flow a little bit easier, and sometimes the easiest way to do that is to create only one restriction, the lack of restrictions and the requirement to continue without going back and editing. Luminous Beings Are We
I’ve been drawing a great deal of inspiration from a Yoda quote lately. I think it usually goes unreferenced, even by most Star Wars fans. During Luke’s training with Yoda on Dagobah, Yoda tells Luke, “Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.”
11 years after September 11
I remember all the bloody fucking numerology experts that appeared after that day. I wonder what they’re writing about now… actually no I don’t, I don’t give a fuck.
Create Significance
I have been realizing lately, that in a world-view without inherent meaning, where the rituals and ceremonies of religion and the imposed goals and stereotypes of value in life are irrelevant, that we must create significance for ourselves, or not.

Simulation [Writing Stub]

His armor of black scutes grew around him and his mind flickered as parts of his brain remapped to control his expanding draconic wings. The Idea of Power
I’m presently reading the 2nd book of A Song of Ice and Fire, called Clash of Kings, written by George R.R. Martin. In all honesty it’s nowhere near as compelling and well written as the first book, but it’s not without merit either.
An idea arose in the text regarding the idea of power, who truly wields it, and what it means. I’m intrigued by that idea as I think it’s quite relevant to the world today, and throughout history.
It’s the afternoon of the age of the Internet
For me the Internet equals two words: Instant Gratification.
We can connect to everyone important to us, no matter where they are in the world*. We can connect beyond those tight-knit circles too, tapping the public if we wish. When we post some personal content, those connections give us feedback. It’s the human social dream come true. Speak, be heard, be spoken to, respond. Instant gratification. Furthermore, if you want to shut it out, it’s as easy as leaving your mobile behind and turning off your computer. The information quiet can be wonderful.
*excluding those places without any connectivity of course.
