Simulation [Writing Stub]

Augustus slapped on his SimGlass and blinked into his personna. His armor of black scutes grew around him and his mind flickered as parts of his brain remapped to control his expanding draconic wings. His mind focused again and his glaive appeared in his hands, his pride after months of work. He brandished it and the blade gleamed in the false sun’s light.

Role-playing Adventure Hooks I

Killing time with a blog post, how about some adventure hooks for Dungeons and Dragons, or other pen and paper RPGs?

1.  An earlier adventurer party ventured into a dungeon, only one member came out and he’s looking for help to recover whatever remains of his friends.

Continued from my last post, 2075, I thought I might follow through with another installment of my vision of the future.

In the year 2100, I will be 113 years old, though I will look about 60 because of medical solutions to many problems faced with aging discovered decades before.

From hover cars to houses on Mars our ideas of the future have in part shaped how we developed it.  Science Fiction authors and futurists must be credited alongside scientists and brilliant minds that tested those waters and brought ideas to fruition.

Photography Project

Anyone who wants to can participate in this.  It’s quite simple.  Take the following template, fill it in with photographs/images of your taking/making and comment with a link to the finished product.  These are all just size templates and are just ideas.  Optionally you can try to make them all thematically related.

Mild depression sets in.  Expected state of affairs after two weeks of on and off boredom combined with a somewhat deprecating placement in classes.  I think I may buy some chicken tonight and cook it to cheer myself up.  I did borrow a guitar that apparently floats around the dorm for 20 minutes and played some music which made me feel like a real person!  I want to find some people to do a photo scavenger hunt… The only things I can think of right now though are taking a photo with at least 2 Family Marts in it, and taking a picture of at least 3 people in a row sleeping on a train.  Hmmm… maybe I’ll keep working on the list for a while.
